Asian American Pacific Islander Mothering Group for pregnant moms and moms of children under 5. This 6-week experiential process group includes psychoeducation and supports AAPI moms in exploring and understanding how our culture and generational legacies impact the way we mother.

About the Event
This committed 6 week process group is designed to support AAPI moms as they encounter and explore intergenerational differences in parenting and caregiving including:
* The process of becoming a mother
* Legacy and migration burdens
* Difficulties with family dynamics
* Collectivist vs. Individualist values
* Cultural parenting styles
* Self and cultural compassion
Goals: To help normalize and de-stigmatize emotional challenges in motherhood, reflect and learn about yourself, strengthen self-compassion, synergize culture and your unique mothering identity and build supportive networks.
Join Melissa Villamejor, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist* in this safe, supportive community.
Cost: $300/6 sessions
