OUR VISION
We believe mothering is the very heart of our humanity.
We seek to provide meaningful healing for our world through our focus on Perinatal Mental Health. Family Tree Wellness' vision includes creating a space where women and families feel welcome, inclusive of their most painful suffering and difficult emotions. Our shared wish is that the shame of suffering through depression, anxiety, loss, trauma, grief, disconnection and despair that so often accompanies the reproductive years can be lifted and held with tenderness and wisdom by a larger group. It is our aim to educate, honor and support all people as they traverse the rocky, expansive terrain of reproduction.
Family Tree Wellness is in the process of expanding so that more women and families can be part of a community that holds mothering in the highest and gentlest manner.

Black Lives Matter.

Family Tree Wellness is in solidarity with the black community. We are committed to ongoing rigorous examination and growth within ourselves and our organization toward the goal of being anti-racist. In our racist world, black mothers are suffering disproportionately. While therapy and the medical model may have been created and designed by white men, healing mothers was not. Family Tree Wellness is dedicated to creating and offering programs that prioritize the mental health needs of perinatal black mothers and their families.
